Walnut’s hillside neighborhoods back onto Tres Hermanos Ranch’s open grazing land, and properties near Mt. SAC’s campus sit close to mature landscaping and open green space. Both give feral colonies more natural forage and cavity space than a typical flatland tract, which is why we see steady bee activity across both residential hillsides and campus-adjacent commercial properties.
